Why I chose AS Media

I've always been a very creative person, and i've always been intrigued by the world of Media in which we live in. From a young age I was fascinated by even the simplest forms of technology, simply recording a video on my very first phone would amuse me for hours; not mentioning when I discovered you could pause the video and then resume it. I used to use this to form camera tricks to make illusions like walking into a closet, pausing the video and exiting, then resuming the video and showing that I had disappeared. Throughout my short life i have had the opportunity to experience a snippet of the evolution of technology and the media around us. I chose to study As Media to develop my understanding of the Media industry, and how this influences the way we live. Throughout the course I would like to gain skills such as being able to edit footage to a professional standard and develop my  standard of creativity to excel in this course.
